Years ago, discussing why I was still single, a friend’s husband declared “you’re too independent, you’re probably scaring men off”.

At that time, not knowing better, I wondered if it could be true...
Were my independence, my inner strength really getting in the way of me meeting someone?
And if yes, what should I do about it? Should I dim this light?

I often hear this from strong, amazing women who are good at their jobs and admired by their friends. They somehow believe that their intelligence, power, or autonomy, are pushing men away.

This is CRAZY.

You should be DAMN PROUD of that power sister.

I’m not talking about the man-like power.
No, I’m talking about the feminine power.
This energy that we all have in us with a female body, but that we have been taught to hide.
